Rev. Dr. Walter E. Middlebrooks has been an ordained pastor since 1978. His first appointment within the United Methodist Church was the Federalsburg-Denton Charge, in Federalsburg, Maryland. Dr. Middlebrooks is an organizer, teacher, planner, educator, and pastor. His greatest joy and passion comes from giving back to God’s people. His goals are geared towards creating a spiritual, cohesive, political, and economic force within the African-American Community. Rev. Middlebrooks has extensive experience in planning, budgeting, organizing, and administration. He has been the Senior Pastor in both cross racial appointments, and African-American congregations; rural, suburban, and inner cities churches. Dr. Middlebrooks was the driving force behind organizing and incorporating the Black Chamber of Commerce of Anne Arundel County, Maryland, Inc. BCCAAC, under the leadership of Dr. Middlebrooks, recently completed a successful dialogue with Anne Arundel County Public Schools that reshaped the process/system for awarding contracts within the Public School System of Anne Arundel County, Maryland.
